My Name is Sonya & My Hubby’s name is Rohan I have been quilting since I was a young girl.
We are a husband & Wife team, Our shop is a walk in home based shop at the side of our house for now as well as on-line, and you can contact us any time during opening hours by phone or email and after hours you can leave us a message so as we can get back to you that next working day Monday to Friday and half days Saturday.
Hunters & Collectors Barn is a patch work and quilting shop that sells 100% Cotton fabrics in the normal size (44”) and Wide back fabrics (108”) & we have a beautiful array of colours and designs, we also sell patterns & Books, Pre-cut Kits, Fat quarter bundles Jelly rolls & charm packs.
Our specialty is helping people with their creative passion!
There is nothing better than helping someone with that lightbulb moment & when they walk through our door & see the variety of colour and themes that give you that instant yes or wow.
Like all Quilters, quilting for myself is my passion my creative outlet I love to create, & like all quilters nothing gives me greater joy than working on new projects, helping them through their journey, & transforming their own creative ideas into amazing quilts.
I think being brought up around my grandmother who I lived with and learning how to sew and cook, crochet, weave and so on is what introduced me to the creative world of sewing and art, she holds a very special place in my heart I have to say she was amazing. And as my Grandmother has done in nurturing my creativeness, I to am passing these skills onto my grandchildren as she did me, teaching and nurturing their creativeness brings me a world of joy.
